The White Pine County Golf Course is located just north of beautiful
Ely, Nevada just off Highway 93 across from the Fairgrounds.
With spectacular views of the Schell Creek Mountain Range
on the east and the Egan Mountain Range to the southwest, you'll find
a wonderful place to slow down, relax and play a few rounds.
This is a regulation
18-hole, par 72, 6,843 yard golf course. The course staffs PGA
golf professional, Randy Long with 16 years experience.
Amenities include a snack
bar/cafe, a practice range, putting green, a short game area,
golf cart & equipment rentals and tennis courts
Our course is unmistakable from the highway as you'll see the
newly renovated Georgetown Ranch Barn. This historic building
was part of the original Georgetown Ranch and it is located
right next to the #7 green.
The course has become a very important recreation opportunity in
White Pine County -- for travelers and locals alike. Coach Danny
Maestes from the local middle school brings about 40 kids out
after school throughout the spring. "If you're going to
learn to play golf, this is the place," he says.
Maestes himself is an avid golfer and goes out pretty much every
day. He has played as many as 54 holes (3 rounds) in one day.
"The accessibility is just unbelievable. I mean... you're
there!" he says.
"I think personally this is a hidden golfer's
paradise."
